Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Well, what a year it has been for The Tanya’s Courage Trust!
So this year we have had birthday parties raising funds for TCT, store collections, formed the Here 4 U Support Group, started our annual Purple Day, had four runners in the Brighton Marathon, hosted our first ever Baby Fair, collected on the roadside at Holmbush, equipped and decorated a room on Lowen Ward, our Patron James Morrison opened our room and spent the afternoon with our beneficiaries, hosted our 3rd Dog Show at Griggs, received support from The Central at Newquay, received a grant from HRH Prince of Wales Duke of Cornwall, received a donation of a selection of handmade handbags from Kernow Quilters, enrolled onto the Macmillan Cancer Support course, were the beneficiaries for The Proms at the Keay Theatre, employed our new Manager for our Penzance shop, built a relationship with Kernow Trek Lodge, received support from Padstow Girl Guides, and much much more.
WOW!!!! It really has been such a fantastic year for TCT and we couldn’t do it without our amazing local community and our fantastic team of volunteers.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us this past year, and we look forward to another highly successful year in 2013.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year, from all of us at Tanya’s Courage Trust.

We raised a fantastic £810.61.
Thank you to Griggs Country Store for allowing us the use of the field.
We look forward to seeing you all at the next Dog Show.
Thank You Falmouth Sainsbury’s
After a very successful year of being Falmouth Sainsbury’s Charity of The Year, we were presented with a fantastic cheque to the value of £2,486.29!!!
Thank you so much to everyone involved with the fundraising efforts. This includes our volunteers, staff of the Sainsbury’s, and the customers of Sainsbury’s, who have supported us over this past year, we are extremely grateful, and this money will go a very long way to helping us support young people with cancer.

Falmouth Sainsbury’s Charity of The Year
As many of you will already know The Tanya’s Courage Trust have been chosen as Falmouth Sainsbury’s charity of the year.
This is such fantastic news for us and we are delighted to be working with the staff in Falmouth, we are so grateful that they have chosen to support us as this will help us to promote our charity to an area in Cornwall that may not be fully aware of what we do.
We look forward to working with the staff throughout the year and also meeting some new people.
Beach Themed Party
We would like to send a massive Thank you Davina, Maff and Debbie Allen for organising a fantastic fundraising event for The Tanya’s Courage Trust.
The Beach Themed Party at The Duke Of Cornwall went so well and we are so grateful for all their hard work.
The event raised between £500-£700, we do not yet have a final total as we are still waiting for some of the money to be sent, due to sponsors and supports etc.
A great day was had by all, and again we are so grateful to them. Also a huge thank you to the staff of The Duke Of Cornwall, you were such a great support to the charity, so thank you.

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers and we have plenty of opportunities available.
Volunteering is a great way of meeting new people, helping the community and is great for your CV.
We have many roles available ranging from sorting through donations for our charity shop to helping with our events.
