Well, we did it again!! We came first place in our category! So Narnia won the hearts of the judges. Thank you to everyone involved, from the volunteers decorating and taking part to the organisers of the carnival, we had a fantastic time and already busy planning our theme for next year, bigger better and brighter!

As many of you will already know The Tanya’s Courage Trust have been chosen as Falmouth Sainsbury’s charity of the year.
This is such fantastic news for us and we are delighted to be working with the staff in Falmouth, we are so grateful that they have chosen to support us as this will help us to promote our charity to an area in Cornwall that may not be fully aware of what we do.
We look forward to working with the staff throughout the year and also meeting some new people.
We would like to say a huge welcome to Andy Jenkin, who is now our Area Fundraising Manager. Andy now covers all fundraising in the West of Cornwall (from Truro down) and is based in Penzance. He will be the face of Tanya’s Courage Trust in that area.
Thank you Andy ever so much for coming on board and we look forward to working with you.

We would like to send a massive Thank you Davina, Maff and Debbie Allen for organising a fantastic fundraising event for The Tanya’s Courage Trust.
The Beach Themed Party at The Duke Of Cornwall went so well and we are so grateful for all their hard work.
The event raised between £500-£700, we do not yet have a final total as we are still waiting for some of the money to be sent, due to sponsors and supports etc.
A great day was had by all, and again we are so grateful to them. Also a huge thank you to the staff of The Duke Of Cornwall, you were such a great support to the charity, so thank you.
We are always happy to welcome new volunteers and we have plenty of opportunities available.
Volunteering is a great way of meeting new people, helping the community and is great for your CV.
We have many roles available ranging from sorting through donations for our charity shop to helping with our events.
If you are interested in helping us in any way at all please contact us and we can discuss with you in full detail what is available.
So here we have it, Tanya’s Courage Trust now have a charity shop.

The shop so far has been a great success, with donations coming in thick and fast, and the customers just keep coming back for more bargains.
We are receiving great feedback about all aspects of the shop from the layout to the prices, so come on over and take a look for yourself, we really do have some fantastic bargains that you dont want to miss out on!
What a crazy day it was!!! We were so worried about the weather as it started to rain first thing whilst we were setting up, but then came the sunshine!!
The dog show went extremely well and the dogs and their owners had a great day. There were some beautiful dogs there and the judges had a very difficult day choosing winners. We would like to thank our judges and our prize suppliers, who gave their time free of charge and they did a fantastic job, we are so grateful for their support.
The day then went into the evening entertainment with a BBQ, Bar, Live Bands and Fire/Glass Walking. Although there were not many people taking part in the walking, the people who did had a fantastic time and did very well.
We do not yet have a total for the amount raised as we are waiting for the sponsor money to come in, but I would like to thank all of those who were involved in any way, and a big thank you again to Time4Change and all of our participants.
We would like to say a huge thank you to St Austell Football Club for a fantastic day collecting again.
There were all kinds of fancy dress there, and we had great donations coming in from drivers passing us.

Well what can we say, Other than what a dissappointment!
Unfortunatelty, we will not be holding this event again in the near future due to lack of support. Although this event was advertised massively we only had around 50 people there. This is such a great shame as we had some fantastic bands who kindly gave their time free of charge.
We would like to thank all of those who did support us, from bands, guests, suppliers, volunteers and so on. We are so grateful to those who did support us.
This was a new venue for us but we were made very welcome, and very glad to hear a lot of people had already heard of us, which is always good news. We raised £190.29 so thank you to everyone for your support.
