On Thursday 26th August The Tanya’s Courage Trust were collecting and promoting our work at Pentewan Holiday Park in the clubhouse during the evening, we also had special guests Mickey and Minnie Mouse with us.

On Saturday 28th August there was a fun day for Anthony Nolan Trust in White River Place, St Austell. Because The Tanya’s Courage Trust supprt the Anthony Nolan Trust hugely we had a stall at the fun day to help raise awareness of how important it is to have people register with Anthony Nolan.
The event was a huge success and we would like to thank Antony Nolan Trust for allowing us to join them.
The Tanya’s Courage Trust had a stall at the Charity Fete at Trewether Farm (on the Road to Lerryn) on Saturday 28th August, we will had our tombola and our merchandise throughout the day, the event was only for 2 hours and we still managed to raise over £60.00.
During the weekend of the St Agnes Rally we had a stall for the 3 day event, what a wonderful Rally this is with great attendance dispite the poor weather.
Thank you to all who supported us during the 3 days including the general public and our wonderful volunteers.
Well what a fantastic day the Dog show was! It was a lovely hot day, and a wonderful turnout with some beautiful dogs.
We would like to say a big thank you to Rosie from Yeovale Kennels for judging, St Austell Trophies for donating the fabulous Trophies, and Lisa Solheim for the wonderful Rossettes.
Well done to all winners and keep your eyes peeled for the date of next years Dog Show!!
The Tanya’s Courage Trust had a stall for all 3 days at Kernow Live.
The festival was held at Boscowen Park, Truro on the 4th, 5th and 6th August.
We had a great time for the 3 days, and made roughly £150.00, but also raised awareness of the charity, and got a few people interested in the firewalk. Unfortunately Mickey and Minnie Mouse were unable to attend due to the weather, they don’t seem to be very keen on the rain!!
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped and to anyone who visited our stall and supported us.
On Monday 2nd August Iris and Nikki were on the judging pannel for St Stephens Queen of Queens.
It was a great night with some very beautiful entries, it was extremely difficult to choose the winners.
Thank you to Tracey for asking us to judge, we had a great night!
Well, what a fantastic day was had by the Tanya’s Courage Team!!
We met with James in the afternoon, and then watched his sound check, a private show for Tanya’s Courage!
We then went to the concert, and what an amazing show it was. James chose a local artist for his support act, who was Jack Wallen, who had a very similar style to James himself, and also some similarities with Newton Faulkner.
Then James bounced on stage and gave an amazing passionate performance. He also urged the audience to donate as much money to TCT as possible, and even had his entire band wearing TCT wristbands!!
We then had collectors on each exit of the Hall For Conrwall, and raised over £2,000.00, so thank you to everyone who donated to us.
After the collection James met us to have a group photograph with all TCT mewmbers present and also met 2 of our beneficiaries.
Thank you so much to James and his management team for organising such an amazing event for us!!!

Well, what can we say other than well done Iris!!!
The big day finally arrived, and it was glorious sunshine and a huge amount of support was shown on the day.
Although throughout the cut Iris looked terrified, she dealt with it all very well, and is quite enjoying having short hair.
Also big well done to Chris Cloke for having his back waxed, Helen Allwright for having her head shaved, and Tom Merrifield for also having his head shaved.
We would also like to thank Sharyn Frost Williams for doing the waxing, Paul Holman from The Salon for the shaving and Tony King for providing us with some fantastic music during the event.
The head shave raised around £2,000.00 but there is still money coming in, the final amount will soon be announced.

On Saturday 24th July, St Austell AFC held a Wheelchair push from St Austell McDonalds Car Park to the Holmbush Inn. The money raised will be split betweet the club and The Tanya’s Courage Trust.
The volunteers who took part walked the route in fancy dress starting at 10am, and then once they arrived at the holmbush Inn they stood alongside the road and in the middle on the island, collecting money from drivers passing by.
The cheque will be presented to us very soon, but we know that there was over £1,000.00 raised on the day which will be split between TCT and ST Austell AFC, well done to all involved, it was a great day.
